The Manhattan Beach volleyball tournaments in 2025 spotlight some of the most exciting beach volleyball events on the West Coast! The legendary Manhattan Beach Open, part of the AVP Gold Series, returns to the Manhattan Beach Pier from August 15–17, drawing top pros and amateur qualifiers to battle it out on the iconic sand courts. Just before that, the Charlie Saikley 6-Man Tournament takes over the Pier on August 1–2, offering a dynamic, team-based twist to beach competition. Throughout the spring and summer, the CBVA series hosts regular men’s, women’s, youth, and co-ed tournaments nearly every weekend at Manhattan Pier—from March through August—showcasing rising talent and community passion. Complementing these local draw events, the AVP schedule features premier stops like Huntington Beach Open in May and a Los Angeles league week in July, leading up to the Manhattan Beach highlight—rounding out a full calendar of sun, sand, and championship‑level volleyball on the Southern California coast. All Manhattan Beach volleyball tournaments are held on the beach near the Southside of Manhattan Beach Pier.

The 2025 Junior Pan American Games Beach Volleyball Trials will take place from January 24-26, 2025, in the iconic beach volleyball hub of Manhattan Beach, California. This prestigious event serves as a key qualifier for junior athletes vying for a spot in the Pan American Games, showcasing their skills on the sand against top-tier competition. Organized as part of the Beach Event, Camps, and Trials series, the event also aligns with the Beach National Team Development Program (NTDP), providing a platform for emerging talent to refine their game under the guidance of elite coaches. With Manhattan Beach's reputation as a world-class beach volleyball venue, the trials promise intense matches, exceptional athleticism, and an exciting preview of the future stars of the sport. The competition serves as the official qualifier for athletes vying to represent the United States at the 2025 Junior Pan American Games in Asuncion, Paraguay, scheduled for August 9-23, 2025.

The 2025 Charlie Saikley 6-Man Beach Volleyball Tournament returns to Manhattan Beach on August 1 and 2, bringing with it a vibrant celebration of sport, community, and beach culture. Known as the “Godfather of Beach Volleyball,” Charlie Saikley founded the tournament in 1974, combining world-class competition with the playful spirit of the South Bay. Hosted at the iconic Manhattan Beach Pier, the event features not only elite volleyball but also festive team costumes and an electric atmosphere that embodies Saikley’s original vision. Continuing his legacy of youth engagement, the 10th Annual Jr. 6-Man tournament will follow on August 3, highlighting the next generation of players in this beloved tradition.

The Junior 6-Man Beach Volleyball Tournament is a high-energy, fun-filled event designed for young athletes who love the game and dream of one day competing in the legendary Charlie Saikley 6-Man Tournament. Blending competition with creativity, this tournament invites players to team up, dress in spirited costumes, and showcase their volleyball skills in a long court, rally-scoring format. Open to all teams 14 and under—whether all boys, all girls, or co-ed—the Jr. 6-Man offers a welcoming and inclusive environment that captures the spirit of beach volleyball in the South Bay. Winners receive International Surf Festival T-Shirts and Medals, making it a memorable experience for every participant.

The Manhattan Beach Open by AVP returns August 15–17, 2025, as the crown jewel of beach volleyball and the most prestigious stop on the AVP Gold Series. Held at the iconic Manhattan Beach Pier, this electrifying three-day tournament features the world's top talent, including Olympians and past champions, all competing for glory and a permanent place in beach volleyball history. With a 32-team Main Draw and a fiercely competitive, two-day, single-elimination Qualifier capped at 77 teams, the action promises to be nonstop. General admission is free, but VIP experiences are available for fans who want to elevate their view of the sand and surf showdown.
