4-star hotel
Our stay at Dream Hollywood Hotel was a true celebration of luxury and comfort. This chic boutique hotel blends midcentury modern style with the vibrant energy of Hollywood, offering a unique and stylish retreat right in the heart of Los Angeles. The design, by the award-winning Rockwell Group, creates a welcoming atmosphere with its contemporary touch. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the sleek ambiance, impeccable service, and stunning views of iconic landmarks like the Hollywood Sign and Griffith Observatory. Between the rooftop pool, stellar dining, and unbeatable location, this hotel truly lives up to its name.
We stayed in the King Gold room, a spacious 400-square-foot sanctuary with spectacular city views. The room's oversized windows bathed the space in natural light, showcasing the best of the Hollywood skyline. It was the perfect blend of modern elegance and comfort, complete with a plush king bed, a luxurious rainfall shower, and designer Karl Lagerfeld bath amenities. The room also featured thoughtful touches like a coffee maker, a 55” flat-screen HDTV, and a bedside tablet for easy access to concierge services. We truly felt at home, with every detail considered for our comfort.
As pet lovers, we were thrilled to discover Dream Hollywood’s pet-friendly amenities. The Dream Pet Package went above and beyond to pamper our furry friend, offering a cozy dog bed, collapsible travel bowl, and a waste bag dispenser. The waived $125 pet cleaning fee was a thoughtful touch, allowing us to relax and enjoy our stay without any added stress. Our pet had as much of a luxurious time as we did, making this a perfect spot for travelers with four-legged companions.
Each morning, we started our day at Turntable, the hotel’s vibrant lobby café. It offered the perfect Grab & Go breakfast options, including delicious coffee and pastries, ideal for a quick but satisfying start to the day. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff made it an enjoyable experience, and we appreciated the convenient all-day menu available until 5 pm, making it easy to grab a snack or meal when we needed it. The convenience of having a quality café right downstairs was a huge plus.
One of the highlights of our stay was enjoying a leisurely lunch at the rooftop pool, which offered breathtaking views of the Hollywood Sign and Griffith Observatory. We relaxed in a private cabana while savoring delicious dishes from Turntable’s menu. The combination of great food, beautiful weather, and the iconic Hollywood scenery made it an unforgettable afternoon. It was the ultimate rooftop escape.
Mother Wolf was just a short stroll from the hotel and quickly became one of our favorite dining experiences. The ambiance was buzzing, the service impeccable, and the handmade pastas and wood-fired pizzas were absolutely delicious. It’s a must-visit if you're a fan of upscale Italian with a modern LA flair. The close proximity to the hotel made it an easy and perfect choice for a night out in Hollywood.
Shopping at Ovation Hollywood was an experience in itself, with a mix of high-end retail stores and unique boutiques. Afterward, we strolled along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, taking in the star-studded sidewalk and the rich history of Hollywood’s entertainment legacy. It was the perfect opportunity to explore the iconic landmarks of the area, all within walking distance from Dream Hollywood.
For another delightful dinner, we visited TAO, located conveniently next door to the hotel. This lively and stylish spot offers an incredible selection of Asian-inspired dishes in an atmospheric, trendy setting. From the dramatic decor to the creative Asian fusion dishes, everything felt glamorous yet inviting. The flavorful food, impeccable service, and the lively atmosphere made it the ideal location for a memorable evening out, and the convenience of being right next to the hotel made it even more appealing.
Dream’s central location made it easy to go car-free. Our visit to CityWalk Universal Studios was a breeze, thanks to the hotel's proximity to the metro. After a short walk, we hopped on the metro and arrived at CityWalk in minutes. The vibrant atmosphere, shopping, and entertainment options made for an exciting afternoon. It was a great way to explore even more of the LA area and enjoy everything this dynamic city has to offer.
The prime location of Dream Hollywood truly sets it apart. Nestled in the heart of Hollywood, we were just a short stroll away from the Walk of Fame, Pantages Theater, and the buzzing Vinyl District. Whether we were exploring the nearby entertainment landmarks or soaking in the local culture, everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance. This central location made our trip all the more convenient and enjoyable, ensuring we didn’t miss out on anything Hollywood had to offer.
